About Ann-Sofie
Ann-Sofie Wensbo is a multi-faceted, Swedish-born Singer/Songwriter, composer, producer, educator and coach. She's got a deep passion for personal growth and powerful grooves, and her unique strength is really the combination of the two.
Her musical hallmark is her warm and soothing voice to acoustic, calm, yet groovy accompaniment, and as a songwriter she's got a knack for catchy melodies and rich harmonies. Her sound has been likened to e.g. Eva Cassidy, Karen Carpenter, Carol King, Linda Ronstadt and Joni Mitchell.
Ann-Sofie's music has long served as a source of solace and inspiration to people all over the world, not the least through her intoned compositions of the Baha’i Holy Writings, but also through her own songs with lyrics based on real life experiences of trauma, loss and post-traumatic growth.
Her unique blend of life wisdom and intuitive musicality has contributed to making Ann-Sofie an appreciated Life Ceremony Musician, Playback Theater Musician and Inner Voice Coach.
Alongside these callings, she has in the recent years deepened her craft as a songwriter, composer and producer, and the first result of this journey is her Ave Maria Tribute for Women's Rights "I Look At You", which was released in 2023.
